Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see all my photos on the map?

Only photos that carry location data appear on the map directly. Photos without a location are collected in Library → No location, where Suvenio suggests likely places (for example from photos taken just before and after) and lets you place one photo, a selection, or a whole day at once.

Suvenio found no photos at all

Check that photo access is granted in system settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Suvenio on iOS). If you granted access to selected photos only, Suvenio can only see that selection. Cloud-only media (for example Google Photos items not on the device) become visible after you download them to the device.

How do trips work?

Suvenio groups photos taken away from your usual home area into trips automatically — no tracking, no check-ins, it simply reads the time and place of photos you already took. You can rename, merge, split or delete any trip, and create a trip from a past date range yourself, including photos without location data.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Indexing, trip detection and statistics run on your device; Suvenio has no accounts and no servers. The details are in the privacy policy.

How do I move my edits to a new phone?

Settings → Backup exports a small file with your trip edits, manual locations and hidden-photo flags (not your photos). Import it on the new phone and Suvenio re-attaches your edits to the same photos.

How do I restore a Pro purchase?

On the paywall, tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID / Google account you bought with. Subscriptions are managed by the store, not by us — cancelling follows the standard App Store / Google Play flow.

How do I delete my data?

Everything Suvenio stores lives on your device: deleting the app deletes the index, your edits and all settings. There is nothing to delete on a server.
